Course Overview
CQHE Level 6 Graduate Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management is an advanced qualification designed to develop leadership, management, and operational skills for the tourism and hospitality industry.
It prepares learners for senior roles in hotels, resorts, travel companies, airlines, and event management, with progression opportunities to CQHE Level 7 or university top-up degree programs.
Entry Requirements:
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
Academic Qualifications
- Level 5 Diploma / Extended Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality or related field
- OR Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent
- OR Any recognized Level 5 qualification
Alternative Entry (Mature Learners)
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant work experience in tourism/hospitality
- With evidence of managerial/supervisory role
English Language Requirement
- IELTS 5.5 (or equivalent)
- OR Medium of Instruction in English
- OR Internal English assessment (if applicable)
Progression Pathway:
Successful learners may progress to a final-year Bachelor’s Top-Up Degree, CQHE Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma, MBA, or managerial careers in tourism and hospitality industries
