Course Overview
The CQHE Level 3 Diploma in Data Science qualification offers a contemporary and comprehensive overview of data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. It traces the evolution of artificial intelligence and machine learning from their inception in the late 1950s, through the advent of the “big data” era in the early 2000s, to the current applications of AI and machine learning, along with the diverse challenges they entail.
Furthermore, alongside the conventional machine learning models like linear and logistic regression, decision trees, and k-means clustering, the diploma acquaints learners with two innovative and burgeoning areas of data science: synthetic data and graph data science. The objective of the programme is to furnish learners with an introductory comprehension of the realm of data science. This program consists of fourteen mandatory units covering a range of topics with a total of 60 credits for the entire programme.
Entry Requirements:
- GCE Ordinary Level or equal qualification
- Learners must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the programme.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
