Course Overview
The CQHE Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology (IT) is designed to enhance learners’ proficiency in resolving intricate applied computing challenges within the realm of information technology. Through this program, learners will acquire skills in managing IT projects and gain insights into the societal impacts of information technology. Additionally, it aims to foster the capability to conceptualise, plan, and execute technology-based projects efficiently, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to high standards, and compliance within allocated budgets. This programme consists of six mandatory units covering a range of topics with a total of 120 credits for the entire programme.
Entry Requirements:
- An honours degree or relevant CQHE Level 6 Diploma or an equivalent qualification.
or
- Mature students (over 21) having substantial management level experience.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
Progression Pathway:
Successful completion of the CQHE Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology allows students to advance into employment, as well as continue their further education.
