Course Overview
The aim of the CQHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care Management is to provide learners with comprehensive knowledge, understanding, and practical skills necessary for a managerial role in the health and social care sector. Learners will develop competencies that enable them to showcase their capabilities through practical demonstrations and evidence derived from their professional activities or training. This programme consists of twelve mandatory units covering a range of business topics with a combined total of 240 credits for the entire programme.
Entry Requirements:
- Relevant CQHE Level 4 Diploma or equal qualification.
or
- GCE Advanced Level three passes or equal certification.
or
- Mature students (over 21) having relevant executive level experience.
- English language competency
Progression Pathway:
Successful completion of the CQHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care Management leads learners to pursue a variety of academic opportunities, including year 3 advanced entry into Health and Social Care Management degree at British Universities.
