Course Overview

The Qualifi Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training aims to develop learners’ understanding of the theory and practice involved in education. It provides an in-depth exploration of teaching, learning, assessment strategies, curriculum design, and professional practice. This qualification is designed for individuals who are working or aspire to work as teachers/trainers in the education and training sector. It combines academic knowledge with practical teaching skills to prepare learners for a professional teaching role or further studies in education.

This programme includes seven mandatory modules, with a total of 120 credits.

 Entry Requirements:

• A relevant Level 4 qualification or equivalent in education or a related field
  or

• GCE Advanced Level – three passes or equivalent international certification
  or

• Mature learners (over 18 years) with relevant teaching, training, or instructional experience

• Demonstrable English language proficiency

Progression Pathway:

Upon successful completion of the Qualifi Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, learners will gain specialised knowledge and practical teaching competencies, enabling them to advance into senior teaching or training roles, pursue Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status, or progress to a Level 6 or undergraduate degree programme in education or a related field.
