Course Overview
The CQHE Level 4 Diploma in Psychology aims to equip learners with a depth of knowledge and comprehension of major topics of psychology. Students will be exposed to both historical and contemporary approaches to psychology, such as biopsychology, social and developmental psychology, attachment theories, human memory processes, and modern research and investigation methods. After the successful completion of the programme, students will have a well-rounded knowledge of psychology that may be utilised to further study and employment. This programme consists of six mandatory units covering a range of topics related to psychology with a total of 120 credits for the entire programme.
Entry Requirements:
- Relevant CQHE Level 3 Diploma or equal qualification.
or
- GCE Advanced Level two passes or equal certification.
or
- Mature students (over 21) having relevant executive level experience.
- English language competency
Progression Pathway:
Successful completion of the CQHE Level 4 Diploma in Psychology leads learners to pursue a variety of academic opportunities, including the CQHE Level 5 qualification in Psychology
