Course Overview
This practical and knowledge-based CQHE Level 2 Certificate in Hair Smoothing and Straightening Services qualification has been designed to develop and equip hairdressers with the skills, competencies, and expertise necessary for various hair services, including consultation, shampooing and treatment, colouring and lightening, cutting, styling and finishing, and setting and dressing hair. This qualification will also help hairdressers gain confidence in their practice while gathering evidence in a realistic working environment. Learners who complete this qualification can advance their careers in employment or self-employment within the hairdressing industry. The programme consists of four mandatory units covering a range of topics with a total of 30 credits for the entire programme.
Entry Requirements:
- GCE Ordinary Level or equal qualification
- Learner must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the course
- English language competency
