Course Overview
The objective of the CQHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Law qualification is to provide learners with opportunities to deepen their knowledge and understanding of core legal principles and to develop foundational professional and research skills. This qualification is crafted to offer learners a comprehensive understanding of various legal principles and to cultivate essential skills necessary for a successful career in law. Additionally, the qualification serves as a solid foundation for learners preparing for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination. This programme consists of twelve mandatory units covering a range of topics with a combined total of 240 credits for the entire programme.
Entry Requirements:
- Relevant CQHE Level 4 Diploma or equal qualification.

- GCE Advanced Level three passes or equal certification.
or
- Mature students (over 21) having relevant executive level experience.
- English language competency
Progression Pathway:
Upon successful completion of the CQHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Law, learners have the opportunity to advance to further study or pursue employment.
